چکیده

Balancing control of neutral-point voltage (NPV) and reducing common-mode (CMV) are crucial for a three-level neutral-point-clamped (NPC) inverter. NPV oscillation can be inhibited by constructing virtual vectors adding adjustment factors to eliminate stochastic disturbances that cause unbalanced NPV. However, the significantly increase computational complexity introduce dynamic sector split instead traditional static one. Moreover, prompts considerable rise in CMV. Therefore, this paper proposes space vector modulation strategy NPC inverter eliminates reduces The study applies idea carrier-based (CBM), which calculation time caused novel factors. Space Vector Modulation Techniques for Common mode Voltage Elimination in the Three- level Voltage Source Inverter

AbstractThe low common mode voltage vector modulation technique for the three-level cascaded voltage source inverter is presented in the paper. The large number of available states for multilevel inverters can make implementation vector control strategies complicated. The main characteristic of the proposed modulation technique is its simplicity of implementation due to the fact that any availa...

Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation with Reduced Common Mode Voltage and Current Losses for Six-Phase Induction Motor Drive with Three-Level Inverter

Common-mode voltage (CMV) generated by the inverter causes motor bearing failures in multiphase drives. On the other hand, presence of undesired z-component currents in six-phase induction machine (SPIM) leads to extra current losses and have to be considered in pulse width modulation (PWM) techniques. In this paper, it is shown that the presence of z-component currents and CMV in six phase driv...
